SoundCloud runs on a different set of signals than Spotify. A repost puts your track directly in the Following feed of everyone who follows the person reposting it, which is a stronger push than an algorithmic recommendation. Plays, likes, comments and playlist adds all feed the same engine from different angles. This page lists what each one does and what it costs per 1,000, so you can build a campaign around the signal that actually moves your track instead of guessing.

Six services live under this hub: Plays, Followers, Likes, Comments, Reposts and Playlist Adds. Each has its own dedicated page with full pricing, delivery speed and guidance on when to use it.

Understand the Signals

What Each SoundCloud Service Actually Does

SoundCloud's recommendation system reads several signals at once, and they aren't interchangeable. Here is what each one is actually doing behind the number.

Signal 01

Plays

The base signal and the cheapest per unit. A play alone tells the platform someone opened the track, nothing more. On its own it does very little for recommendation weight, which is why plays work best stacked underneath likes, comments or reposts rather than ordered in isolation.

Base volume signal

Signal 02

Followers

Attaches to your profile rather than any single track. A track from a profile with almost no followers reads differently to a new listener deciding whether to click play than the same track from an established profile. Followers are a first-impression signal more than an algorithmic one.

Profile credibility signal

Signal 03

Likes

A visible engagement marker under the track. Likes sit below reposts in weight but above raw plays, and they are the signal most casual listeners actually look at before deciding whether a track is worth their time.

Visible engagement signal

Signal 04

Comments

Adds visible social proof and, when timestamped, can highlight specific moments in a track the way real listeners do. Comments are the slowest signal to fake convincingly, which is also why a handful of well-placed ones do more for credibility than a large batch of generic ones.

Social proof signal

Signal 05

Reposts

The highest-weighted engagement signal on the platform. A repost places the track at the top of the reposting account's profile and directly into the Following feed of every one of their followers, in reverse chronological order. That's a deterministic push, not an algorithmic maybe, and it's the closest thing SoundCloud has to a share.

Direct distribution signal

Signal 06

Playlist Adds

Gets a track included in a public playlist. This is a slower-building, longer-lived signal, since a playlist keeps surfacing the track to anyone who plays through it long after the campaign ends, unlike a play or like that is a one-time event.

Long-term discovery signal
Choose by Campaign Goal

Which SoundCloud Services Fit Your Goal

Match the service mix to the gap your track or profile has right now.

Starting point 01

A New Upload That Needs Its First Push

Start with Plays and Likes together, roughly five to ten plays per like, and add Reposts once the track has at least a modest play count sitting under it. Reposts on a track with almost no plays yet looks backwards to anyone who checks.

5–10

Plays for every one Like as an initial working ratio

Suggested sequence

Plays Likes Reposts Later

Starting point 02

A Track That Has Plays but Nothing Else

This is the most common gap. Likes, Comments and a small Reposts order close it, because a track with thousands of plays and near-zero engagement is the profile that looks the most obviously bought, not the one with fewer plays and a healthier ratio.

Signals to add

Likes Comments Small Reposts Order

Starting point 03

A Profile That Needs Long-Term Credibility

Followers first, then a steady trickle of Playlist Adds over time rather than one large order. A profile is judged over months, and a following that appeared all at once the same week is easier to notice than one that built gradually.

Clear Service Conditions

Delivery, Refill and Honest Limits

Delivery pace and refill coverage depend on the exact service. SoundCloud's own filtering remains outside any provider's control.

Service pace

Delivery Speed

Delivery speed is listed per service above and on each individual page. Reposts and Comments move slower than Plays by design, since a large batch landing at once is the fastest way to get a signal discounted rather than counted.

Speed stated per service Reposts move slower Comments move slower
Guarantee window

Refill

Where a service carries a 30 days refill window, request a refill any time the count drops below the delivered figure within that window. Where a service carries no refill, the count delivered is final.

30 days where listed Request within the window No refill means final
Platform filtering

What We Don't Promise

SoundCloud, like every platform, filters engagement it flags as inauthentic, and no provider controls that filtering. A track with a repost count wildly out of proportion to its play count is the pattern most likely to get discounted or reviewed, which is exactly why the ratios in Section 6 matter more than the total volume ordered. What's guaranteed here is the source, the pace and the refill window, not immunity from platform review.

No immunity claim Ratios matter Filtering remains platform-controlled

SoundCloud Promotion Questions

Understand the difference between engagement signals, required links, refill terms and current targeting options before placing an order.

A Like is a static engagement marker under the track. A Repost actively distributes the track into the Following feed of everyone who follows the reposting account, which is a much stronger and more immediate signal.

No. Every service runs off a public track, profile or playlist link copied from the share menu.

There's no fixed platform rule, but a ratio of roughly one like per ten to twenty plays reads closer to how tracks that people genuinely enjoy tend to perform.

If a track is removed from a playlist by its owner for reasons unrelated to delivery, that's outside the guarantee, since the add itself was completed. Refill windows apply to count drops, not to third-party playlist edits.

Use the refill option on your order page within the guarantee window listed for that service.

Not currently. SoundCloud services on this page are worldwide pools, apart from the USA-specific Fast Plays option.
